Aman Bahl heads the architectural design for Tradition REdefined. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania (Emerging Technologies of Architecture). He spent the formative years of his career designing houses in Bangalore with architect Edgar Demello. He’s a versatile, sensitive and creative architect who prides himself in building a perfect box and then thinking outside it! Aman’s dream is to reshape the accepted conventions of architectural construction in India. His emphasis lies on minimizing the carbon footprint of a building and making environmentally responsive lightweight structures. Since 2004, he has been involved in many projects using tensile membranes across India and Europe. Aman believes that his work should be designed to perfectly integrate his client’s lifestyle with aesthetic, functional and structural requirements.
